"Greenie" 1959 Fender Stratocaster #52331

Seafoam Green

Purchased from Chris' Guitars in the early 1990's.

This '59 Strat appeared on the original cover artwork of Blue Drops of Rain and Road To Zen, and on the inside booklet of Albertville. It has all original parts down to the classic "green guard" (pickguard).

Corey used it in the recording studio on all albums with the exception of Alone At Last & Myth Live, & on tour.

















1946 Martin 00-18 Acoustic Guitar #93784

Corey used this 1946 Martin acoustic guitar to write My Love For You Has Died as well as other songs, in the recording studio for most of the recording sessions of Alone At Last, & on tour for solo shows & TV appearances.

It was also used for the photo shoot for the inside artwork of Alone At Last.















Artist, Tim Braaten, illustrated the Martin guitar for the artwork of Alone At Last (see below).







"Brownie" 1986 Fender '62 Vintage Stratocaster #V019403

Sunburst

Purchased from Performance Guitars of Hollywood in 1987.

Corey used this Fender Vintage Reissue Stratocaster (made in the U.S.A.) in the recording studio on all albums with the exception of Alone At Last & Albertville, on stage for the Myth Live album, on tour, & in a photo shoot for the artwork of Albertville.

Corey customized this Stratocaster with a vintage 1961 pickup in the neck position, a Lindy Fralin reverse wound pickup in the middle position, & jumbo frets.





















1968 Gibson SG

Purchased from the Music Box of Carbondale, Illinois in 1976.

Corey used this Gibson SG as his primary guitar for live shows in Illinois, Florida, & California from 1976 until 1987 & in the recording studio for most of the songs on Getaway (re-released as Mean and Lean).

Corey used this acoustic guitar in the recording studio at the end of the song, Road To Zen for the Road To Zen album, for songwriting & for the artwork of the Alone At Last album.

This Fender Stratocaster is a gift from a fan/friend in Sioux City, Iowa that Corey customized with new machine heads and jumbo frets.

Corey used Buttlee for My Love For You Has Died & Mean and Lean on the Myth Live album & on tour.

This guitar appeared on the original cover artwork of Bring on the Blues & Corey used it for songwriting.





















1960's Danelectro Convertible

Purchased at a guitar show in Pasadena in the 1990's.

Corey used this guitar in the recording studio, for songwriting, & as an open G guitar for live shows.

It is an unusual looking guitar with Formica, vinyl, & a lipstick pickup.

















"Redly" 1997 Fender Stratocaster Relic #R3552

Purchased from Fender in 1997.

Corey used this Fender Relic Stratocaster in the recording studio on Bring On the Blues, on stage for the Myth Live album & on tour.

Redly also traveled to France with Corey for the songwriting summit at Miles Copeland's castle in 2000.
